The Bible does not say anywhere “God Bless America”. It does say “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD”. What makes a nation blessed is when it’s people have God by Jesus Christ at their Lord. As the people of a nation know and live the Word of God rightly divided then that nation will be blessed. Understanding this we should then understand that the great accomplishment of our ratified constitution, with it’s amendments, is that we the people may then choose to believe God without interference from our government. This is truly what has blessed our nation, why our nation is blessed, and why our nation will be blessed. The fact that we have restricted our government, and separated church and state, has greatly help the people of the United Stated of America to be able to believe God as they will. Believing God is the only thing that has truly made our nation blessed and great.
