Some men and women desire to have a great man; and some women and men desire to be the great one. For those who believe God there is only one great man, Jesus Christ. For centuries men have decided that they must be the replacement of Christ here on the earth. The thing that takes the place of the risen Christ is the Word of God, nothing else. Every person who is born again has a function, or ministry in the body of Christ, which is the church. The functioning parts of the Church are the local church overseers, and the ministers, then each and every member of that local church. These all work together to witness the love and power of God in Christ and edify the church. These along with the apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastors and teachers are what make, the body of Christ, the church work. There is no central government to the body of Christ. This is how God has set it up and how it will work. We do the best we can to make sure everyone in the body has what they need to do their individual ministry. Any ministry that supports that structure is doing good.
